12/8/14 at st catherine laboure church, torrance, ca ...I think the main priest is from India...he repeatedly says "My Dear Friends" throughout every mass...it's an idiosyncrasy ..sometimes becomes distracting..but everybody LOVES LOVES this priest very much..he is always of good cheer, level disposition..and clearly very caring about the church and parishioners. I'm always amazed h ow much some of the priests who come from other countries are able to care & empathize with the local people here in California ...they really do LOVE us
