10/15/15 JOE SCOTT is BACK in the PULPIT @ ST PAUL's CATHOLIC (westwood) ...hadn't seen joe in a while. Not sure why he is NOT listed as a paulist priest, but is listed as what appears to be a permanent associate priest position at st paul westwood. He seems more like a local yokel for the church. I wonder where he came from. Let's pray that he has the courage to take another step in his walk of faith as a priest. Does he need new spiritual challenges? Most priests move up or move on after a while. Is he a dynamic priest, or static? Is he growing or remaining as-is ? Let us pray for Fr Joe...i mean this with all sincerity. I know he didn't like me when he first saw me. He may have seen me thru "eyes of the flesh" ...because I didn't do anything wrong. That's normally the only reason a person won't like you "at first sight"...if they are "in the flesh" . We all must enter into the Spirit to obtain eternal life, and that means sometime in our earthly life we must let go of the things of the world, the lusts of the flesh (and the opposite). We must trust God, and practice what we preach. We are all in various stages of managing flesh versus Spirit. None of us are perfect. Let us ALL try to give more and more control to the Spirit and less to our flesh.
