Jesus said "I didn't come to bring peace but a sword"...and also the Bible talks about the contradiction of "peace peace when there is no peace"
We must be honest about the Word of God, yet honest with love also. If u trade away the integrity of the Bible for the sake of fake peace, I create serious problems, even if it is peaceful for the pastor. It's like parents compromising the integrity of their children for the sake of the parents feeling *peaceful"...it wrecks the kids in the long run when u don't deal honestly w/ the kids issues and confront them head-on for their good... Kids are not one size fits all, not are congregations and parishioners
