LOOK AT THE HUGE
"TAT" ON HIS ARM
I always get apprehensive at churches w too many overly large bouncer-sized males (especially the ones with tattoos or "tats" as they say here in too-cool california) watching over the attendees as if we are a bunch of potential rioters. Lord we pray for our local churches here including saddleback..which started out as such a unique, fresh, good-hearted, loving church, and continues to be but at some of the "satellitle locations" the vibe sometimes can be a little different, and I'm afraid of it happening at the irvine location. I'm afraid of it happening at newport-mesa also. I'm not sure what leads to this "hardening" of sorts but maybe it's because the pastor doesn't preach every week, but relies on a video of a preacher, so we only get a glimpse of the pastor at the satellite location , and maybe the pastor loses touch with the workers, some of whom become too tough for church. We don't come to church for macho-man act. None of us are an island. All of us are dependent upon one another. Let's knock off the macho macho man act and act like loving brothers & sisters in Christ ! Vk
