Mystery man now reading liturgy at St Paul Apostle westwood

this African-American mystery man first showed up at St. Timothy on Pico ...and has been reading liturgy on a periodic basis. Then he appeared at Good Shepherd Beverly Hills, and now, most recently, he's reading liturgy at St Paul WEstwood. He always dresses in a 3-piece suit, but doesn't seem to show a lot of love for others around him. I'm not judging, just wondering if he's a real Christian or if he's trying to establish his dominion in the area ...and having the pulpit gives him an air of authority. Us "normal citizens" already have more than enough "authorities" over us in every sphere: as we're driving, the police are over us; at the library, the librarians are over us, at the store, the security & cashiers are over us, at the church, usually the priests are the sole authority over us, but there's a few others who also try to establish authority over us at times---not volunteering always for the right reasons. We really do NOT need more authority over us. We need mutuality and friendship and collegiality ; we don't need more people who think they are superior to us. By going from church to church as a liturgy reader and never really being "one of us" in the pew, it feels like he has an agenda that is not "churchly" . And he's not the only one for that matter. Too many people go to church for the wrong reasons. And maybe I am mis-reading him or his intentions, but it feels like he's trying to establish dominion over us.
